'Centzam' (Centurion (R)) 
Height: 25 ft Spread: 20 ft Form: upright 
Flowers: (buds/open) red/pink Type: single 
Fruit: red, 5/8 in 
Diseases: In MSU research trials moderate defoliation from scab was observed. 
Comments: A narrow, upright tree with glossy, dark green leaves - a good street tree or ornamental for smaller areas. The fruits persist for about 2 months.


'Prairiefire
Height: 20 ft Spread: 20 ft Form: rounded 
Flowers: (buds/open) red/red Type: single 
Fruit: red, 1/2 in 
Diseases: Morton Arboretum and Ohio State list the plant as not susceptible to scab. 
Comments: Brilliant flowers. The young foliage is purplish, with age becoming dark green with purple veins.
