'Adams'

Diseases: In MSU research trials moderate defoliation from scab was observed. Morton Arboretum lists fire blight susceptibility as slight.
Comments: An annual bearer of carmine flowers that fade to pink. The fruits persist until spring. Fall foliage display is yellow to orange.
'Branzam' (Brandywine (R))

Fruit: yellow 1 1/2 in
Diseases: Heavily defoliated by apple scab in Michigan trials.
Comments: A simply gorgeous, fragrant flower, like wild roses adorns
this with irregular, rounded form. Not recommended in Michigan because of fruit litter and disease problems. Can be successfully used in neighborhoods lacking other apple or pear trees. Start with disease-free stock.
'Louisa'

Comments: A good weeping form with glossy green leaves.
'Royscezam' (Royal Scepter TM)

Fruit: orange-red, not listed
Diseases: Reported as susceptible to scab, making it slightly riskier
than other varieties.
Comments: An upright tree with double, two-tone flowers. The flowers open intermittently providing a longer blooming period. The foliage is wine-red
in summer.
'Sentinel'
